1. Tell us a little something about yourself.
My name is Blake Jacobsen. I have a passion for photography, and will be studying it at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California this coming fall. Apart from photography, I love fashion, cats, coffee, cats, singing, cats, writing, and cats. Did I mention cats?

2. Tell us about your blog. What is it about?
My blog, THE STYLE MANUAL, is a documentation of my personal style, as well as a go-to site for menswear inspiration.

3. How would you describe your personal style?
I would describe my style as classic, yet refined with modern additions and statement pieces. It’s quite urban, but at the same time, takes on many forms depending on the occasion.

4. Who is your style icon?
Frank Sinatra and Jon Kortajarena.

5. How do you incorporate vintage items into your outfit? What’s your approach?
I always try to incorporate vintage items within my outfits. A lot of times I incorporate vintage accessories, such as bags and ties. However, I also wear a lot of vintage blazers, vests, and shoes.

6. Tell us three vintage items you own that you just can’t live without?
My brown leather rucksack, my polka dotted tie, and my chambray vest.

7. Why are you so amazing?
Oh hush. : P
